INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING THE DEEP SPEAKER
We ask that you read these instructions carefully and follow the steps given here.
Questions can be asked in advance and also during the assembly to our support by email or by phone during the known opening hours.
INSTALLATION OPTIONS:
Depending on the situation in the vehicle interior, there are different installation variants for mounting the DEEP SPEAKER with the supplied mounting parts.
VARIATION I
Mounting with straight flange.

VARIATION II

REGULAR CONTROLL:
The speaker(s) is/are to be checked regularly to ensure that it is firmly in place. Media-CarTec GmbH assumes no liability for loose and fallen off parts and their effects.
INSTALLATION GUIDE (EXAMPLE WITH FLANGE WITH INTEGRATED ELBOWS)
This is only an example assembly aid and cannot be transferred to every vehicle type. The positioning of the speaker and the mounting parts is therefore individual and vehicle-dependent.
POSITION SEARCH
If equipped, remove carpet and/or trim.
Avoid contact with surrounding vehicle parts.
Attach the flange to the loudspeaker and look for a suitable position in the trunk recess.
HOLE IN FLOOR PANEL?
If there is already a hole in the trunk floor panel ex works, the rubber plug can be removed and used for assembly with the flange. The existing hole should have a diameter between 40-65mm.
Provided that the speaker also fits in this position with the flange attached.
HOLE IN FLOOR PANEL NOT EXIST?
In this case, a hole must be drilled with a hole saw with a diameter between 40-65mm.
After drilling, deburr the interface and apply anti-rust.
Please make sure that no damage is caused by drilling on the vehicle parts underneath.
GLUING THE FLANGE IN AND IF APPLICABLE. SCREW ON
Apply enough silicone around the hole and attach the flange. The flange can also be screwed to the floor panel. The flange can be adjusted according to the vehicle conditions.
Please make sure that the drilling screws do not damage the vehicle parts underneath.
INSTALL CARPET/COVERING
Reattach the removed carpet or trim.
The carpet or paneling may need to be adjusted/cut out accordingly.
ATTACH THE SPEAKER
Attach the loudspeaker to the rubber seals using a lubricant such as washing-up liquid or silicone spray in the flange and then secure with the locking screws.
CONNECT THE SPEAKER CABLE
Plug in the speaker cable.
